I don’t make people pose.
I let moments unfold.
The Approach
Nothing here is staged.
I don’t direct people or choreograph moments.
There’s no “stand here”, no “look there”, no “smile.”
I photograph people as they move through their day – talking, working, waiting, laughing, getting distracted, being quiet.
In ordinary moments, and in moments of celebration.
I stay close, attentive, and present, without interrupting what’s happening.
When people forget about the camera and stay with themselves, the images begin to unfold.
About the photographer
I’m drawn to moments that don’t ask to be photographed.
I love being around people. I’m social, curious, and right there — without taking over. When I photograph, I don’t steer or correct. I make space and stay alert.
I work exclusively with my iPhone. It’s my only tool, and a conscious choice, because it’s almost invisible.
It doesn’t interrupt what’s happening or change how people behave. No one tries to look better, act differently, or perform.
People stay as they are. And that honesty is what I’m interested in.
I don’t make people pose. I let moments unfold.
